Terms and Conditions of Use (Terms of Use)

General

1. The information provided on these maps (“the Information”) is intended for identification and reference purpose only and shall not be considered exhaustive.
2. The Information shows the approximate location and alignment of the trails maintained by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) and other trails within or near Country Parks / Special Areas known to be maintained by relevant departments / parties. The Information does not intend to reflect the condition of trails, their usability and any temporary or permanent closures and re-routes. The Information may be revised or edited without prior notification. AFCD reserves the right of final interpretation of the Information.
3. The Information shows the approximate boundaries interpreted from the original gazette plans of Country Parks and Special Areas, and should be interpreted at the scale with reference to the scale of the original gazette plans. The Information is NOT official record on or formal release of the boundaries of Country Parks / Special Areas.
4. No statement, representation or warranty of any kind (whether express or implied) is given by AFCD in relation to the Information (including its accuracy, correctness, completeness, non-infringement, reliability, security, timeliness and appropriateness of the use of the Information in any particular circumstances).
5. AFCD shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, misstatements or misrepresentations (express or implied), concerning any Information, and shall not have or accept any liability, obligation or responsibility whatsoever for any loss, destruction or damage (including without limitation incidental or consequential loss, destruction of damage or other costs or expenses) howsoever arising from or in respect of any use or misuse of or reliance on the Information, or any inability to use the Information.
6. The English version of the Terms of Use shall prevail should there be any inconsistency or ambiguity between different language versions.

Use of Information and Intellectual Property Rights

7. Unless otherwise indicated, AFCD is the owner of the intellectual property right of the Information. One shall not copy or otherwise infringe any intellectual property rights AFCD may have in the Information, whether in whole or in part.
8. One using the Information, in whole or in part, is deemed to have accepted the above Terms of Use.
9. AFCD reserves all rights that are not expressly granted in this Terms of Use.
